Situated 45 Km’s south of Wolwedans and hugged by massive granite rocks, Boulders Safari Camp is the most remote and ‘classic’ camp of the Wolwedans Collection. Boulders sleeps a maximum of ten guests in five spacious tents. This tiny camp is as far off the beaten track as it can get.

At the base of a rocky outcrop, with massive rock mountains towering behind, Boulders Safari Camp looks out over an endless landscape of gravel plains dotted with the tops of submerged mountains.

The main area consists of a dining and lounge tent, a breakfast deck, a library, a pool and an open fireplace. Sundowners can be enjoyed from the top of a mountainous rock plateau close by, delivering epic impressions of the vast beauty of the surroundings.

From Boulders Safari Camp, you will explore the deep south of NamibRand Nature Reserve. Guided scenic drives, two to three-hour walking safaris treading along the ancient hunting grounds of the bushmen and eBiking will happily fill your days.

Whether you discover nature’s miracles on foot, by land rover or from the air, you will be astounded by the multi-faceted desert habitats, home to the most intriguing desert-adapted flora and fauna in this corner of the African continent. Scenic drives and/or flights and nature walks with resident field guides reveal the fascinating wonders of the NamibRand Nature Reserve, as do picnics in the wild, sundowners on the dunes and dinners by candlelight.

Accommodations  

Five tented suites are spread out with spacious decks and large rooms that open up, allowing the afternoon breeze to refresh you. Each suite has a separate spacious bathroom with its own views, as well as a sala for the best siestas. Suites 2 & 3 and 4 & 5 respectively share a private plunge pool, while suite 1 has its own private plunge pool.
