Safari Rating
This adventure safari is perfect for those who want to visit Botswana’s best wildlife areas with limited time. It starts in Maun, ends in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and offers the best value for money.

The Buffalo Safari is based on semi-participation, which means that a minimum of guest assistance is required during this safari, such as pitching your own tent or carrying your own luggage, which is actually quite entertaining! It brings a great sense of community and accomplishment to camp with like-minded people in true wilderness!
Safari 8 day safari through northern Botswana begins with an early morning start in Maun. From here you will cross the Moremi Game Reserve, which is considered one of the best game viewing locations in Southern Africa. The vegetation is very diverse and therefore the wildlife and especially the birdlife is more varied than in some other national parks. You will spend three days here to enjoy the beauty of this place in all its splendor.
On your way to your next destination, the south of Chobe National Park, you will stop in the Khwai River area, where you will do some game drives to explore the area extensively.
The Savuti drylands are best known for the numerous bull elephants that roam the landscape impressively and powerfully.
Slowly, your journey heads north to where the Chobe River flows and the park’s floodplains lie. Here the vegetation is greener and especially the bird life is particularly diverse along the river. Screaming eels are a regular sight here.
Your final, yet breathtaking destination will be Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. A truly magical end to a safari.
