Baker’s lodge is perfectly located along a private stretch of the Nile river next to Murchison Falls NP from where guests can explore the waters by private boat cruises, do game driving activities and go chimp trekking in the Budongo forest.

Set along a tranquil and shaded section of the Nile River, Baker’s Lodge is the perfect home base from which to explore the parks varied habitats and activities on offer.
The lodge has 10 well-appointed safari suites on raised platforms. All rooms are eco-friendly in approach and have bedside fans, flushing toilets and en-suite bathrooms. The main area consists of a central dining and lounge area on a raised platform with a ground level fireplace in front. The lodge has its own jetty and private boat fleet with varying sizes for different activities. There is also a large swimming pool on offer.
There are a wide range of activities on offer: Game drives, bush walks, bird-watching, community project visits, chimpanzee trekking in Budongo Forest, river cruises and fishing for Nile Perch.
Boating is highly recommended here as excursions can take you to the bottom of the falls, to the swamps in search of the elusive Shoebill stork, private dinners and breakfasts on the boats or for fishing trips. Combine a boat cruise with a game drive back for a great outing.
