Early Payment Discount
Pay your safari adventure upfront in full and profit from a 2.5% discount on the full tour price. This offer only applies if payment is more than 6 months prior to departure.
Payment Plans
We would like you to see your safari as an investment. So you may also pay in instalments. We tailor make your payment plan, so that you are able to pay the total tour cost in a number of either equal weekly, two weekly or monthly instalments, with the last payment due only 45 days prior to departure. Another benefit of this kind of payment option is that you will be able to pay a significantly lower deposit and a lower final payment, making it much easier to book your safari with us right now! Price Guarantee
Please be assured that the selling price you receive with us for your safari adventure is the same as you will find on the internet, when booking yourself. You will thus NOT be paying for our services! There is no surcharge when booking tailor made safaris with us (exception: self-drive, last minute and low-budget safaris), although you get to benefit from our travel expert’s know-how. How does that work? The costs for our services are covered in full by our suppliers!

You may pay by credit card or PayPal. The following fees will be charged: Visa, MasterCard, Amex 2.5%, PayPal 3.5%.
Group Discounts
Make a group booking for 3 or more people on one of the Frank and Gesa safaris and receive a 5% discount for each guest. *
Supplements and Mark-ups
Single Supplement
Please note that rates for our scheduled safaris are quoted as per person sharing. Although we try to accommodate the same sex per room (unless travelling together) this is not always possible. If we cannot find a suitable partner to share the room with, a single supplement will be charged.
Price Dependent on Final PAX Number
The selling price of most of our scheduled tours is based on a minimum and a maximum number of participants. The final price is thus dependent on the final number of people travelling. Under the section “notes” of each tour you will find a detailed explanation of the possible extra and maximum extra costs. The amount will be added to your rest payment invoice.nbsp;
Mark-up on Changes

If it turns out that you want our travel experts to do significant changes after you have already confirmed or even paid your booking with us, we reserve the right to charge an additional 5% handling fee and a minimum amount of 50 EUR (USD 60) per hour spent on implementing these changes.
Additional Charges
Self-drive and Low Budget Safaris
We hold the opinion that everyone should be able to enjoy a safari at least once in their life. This is why, we would like to assist you also when planning a more budget sensitive safari. Self-drive safaris and camping is quite common and easily possible in some parts of Africa and a great way of getting in touch with nature. Profit from our expertise and knowledge, when it comes to the proper vehicle, best locations, distances and road conditions between and within Nature Reserves and allow us to book your campsites through our tour operator allotment. Unfortunately, though, there is only little to no commission for tour operators, when planning such an itinerary. We thus need to charge a booking fee / consulting fee of 150 EUR (USD 200) for every week of a self-drive trip. Please note that this booking fee / consulting fee is payable upfront.
Last Minute Bookings and High Season
Please note that prices may increase significantly, when booking last minute and/or during high season. Like any other destination, Africa can get a bit crowded during high season and when booking your trip short notice, we might end up with a significantly higher tour price than usual. We would thus strongly advise you to book your African holidays 12 months in advance for peak season. However, if you want to book in high season and also last minute, we reserve the right to charge a booking fee (2,5% of total price, min. 100 EUR or 120 USD) to compensate for the additional effort to make this work for you!
Exchange Rate Fluctuations
Currency of Suppliers
You will notice that we quote in the currency of our suppliers depending on which country they are based in, with an indicative price in other currencies. The countries and their ‘safari currencies’ are: South Africa (ZAR), Botswana (USD), Namibia (NAD), Zambia (USD), Zimbabwe (USD), Tanzania (USD), Kenya (USD). Any price quoted or indicated on the site in a currency other than these currencies for these countries are only indicative.
Update of Price with Exchange Rates at Time of Payment
You will find that each tour price is quoted in the currency that the suppliers in the country where the tour will take place use, but you might also find an indicative EUR/GBP/AUD/USD or other currency prices. We quote in the currency of our suppliers, due to possible exchange rate fluctuations. The EUR/AUD/GBP/USD price indicated has been calculated with the exchange rate available at the time of publication of each tour. SAFARI FRANK reserves the right to recalculate the tour price using exchange rates at time of deposit and at time of rest payment due.
