Deteema Springs Camp is located near the Deteema dam in northwestern Hwange National Park, an area famous for its large concentrations of animals, including elephant, and due to the existence of year round water seeps, is ideal for walking and extremely productive game drives.

Experience & Activities

Inspired by a former historic picnic site, Deteema Springs camp offers an intimate and unpretentious safari experience. The canvas tents are positioned on raised wooden decks along the contour line of a hill to blend into the natural surroundings, and afford excellent opportunities for game-viewing right from camp.

Activities include morning and evening game drives as well as walking safaris and game viewing from the comfort of your own tent!

Accommodations

Standard Tent: The tents are comfortable with all the facilities of a luxury camp, including hot and cold running water, flush toilet, and decks. The luxury tents feature a romantic queen-sized bed that can be separated into two twin beds.

Family Tent: The family tent features a romantic queen-sized bed as well as two twin beds, catering for up to two adults and two small children. The tent is very comfortable, with all the facilities of a luxury camp, including hot and cold running water, flush toilet, and decks.
