Situated just 3km from the Zambian border, 20 minutes from the Kariba Airport and just a short drive to most harbours, Hornbill Lodge is the perfect overnight stop.

Hornbill Lodge is an intimate boutique lodge with panoramic views of Lake Kariba. The lodge offers beautiful accommodation in Kariba town situated at the top of Mica Point, above the shores of Lake Kariba. It is a wonderful place to soak up the panoramic views of the Lake and relax under the shade of the indigenous trees in the lush garden. All the while receiving personalised service. Sit back and enjoy the sunrise over Lake Kariba from the comfort of your bed!

Small and intimate, the lodge offers very comfortable accommodation for a maximum of 12 people in five individual rooms. The rooms are all thatch, round structures with open fronts (no doors) which allow breathtaking views of Lake Kariba. Every room has mosquito nets, ceiling fans, mobile air conditioning units, tea/ coffee making facilities and en-suite bathrooms.

A large chalet houses the bar, lounge and dining area. Enjoy the pool deck and cool off in the plunge pool on hot Kariba days. The deck creates the perfect setting for alfresco dining, enabling guests to soak up the beautiful panoramic views of the Lake. Or sit under the shade of Africa’s indigenous trees.
