Victoria Falls River Lodge, on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, boasts 13 Luxury Tented Suites (each with private deck and plunge pool), 6 secluded Island Treehouse Suites (sheltered amidst the treetops of the private Kandahar Island), spacious open-plan dining, lounge and bar areas, an onsite fitness centre and the indulgent Africology affiliated Toa Spa.

Luxury tented suites: Nestled on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, within the Zambezi National Park, Victoria Falls River Lodge’s Luxury Tented Suites o­ffer wonderful wildlife viewing opportunities, impressive accommodations, fine dining, easy access to the historic town of Victoria Falls and the opportunity to visit the world-famous Falls and explore this incredible natural wonder on foot. These luxurious thatched tents are well spaced and airconditioned. Constructed of canvas, glass and wood each extends out onto a private deck with its own plunge pool. All Luxury Tented Suites off­er a larger than king size bed, comfortable sitting area, open plan bathroom with freestanding bath and both indoor and outdoor showers. Twin bedded sleeping con‑figurations are also possible. Each of the rooms a­ffords spectacular panoramic views of the Zambezi River and surroundings. Guests travelling as a family can enjoy an adjoining tented room with either a single bed and one bunk bed, or twin single beds – where up to three sharing children younger than 17 years can sleep comfortably.

Treehouse Suites: A fresh and contemporary interpretation of the classic safari lodge – Victoria Falls River Lodge’s Island Treehouse Suites combine an almost tropical island feel with an immersive bush getaway. Personal butler services, incredible bird and wildlife viewing, fine dining and a significant variety of recreation opportunities (both on and off­ site) assure a truly unforgettable experience. Sheltered within the cool green recesses of the private Kandahar Island’s leafy canopy, 6 exquisite open-plan Island Treehouse Suites are perfectly positioned to maximise spectacular views of the mighty Zambezi and surrounds. Accommodating a maximum of 2 guests, 16 years and older, each Island Treehouse Suite features a California King sized bed, private deck with plunge pool, en-suite bathroom with freestanding tub and rain shower, a host of luxury amenities and is connected to voluminous lounge, dining and sunset bar areas via raised walkways.

Starbed Treehouse Suites: Two magnificent double storey Starbed Treehouses offer a truly unique opportunity for guests to immerse themselves in nature.  The open air Starbed decks with bedroom and sitting area are suspended above the treetops offering expansive views and an unforgettable experience. In addition to the luxury amenities offered by the island treehouses, the Starbed Treehouses boast a unique rooftop sitting area which includes the breath-taking Starbed.

Kandahar Island is reached only by boat ride from the mainland, ensuring guests a completely exclusive and private experience.  The spacious open plan suites jut out over river and jungle, elevated on timber decks with generous glass windows and doors ensuring uninterrupted flow from the luxurious comfort of the indoors to the expansive natural beauty of the outdoors.
