Set on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, Victoria Falls River Lodge offers a rare combination of river, safari, and landmark travel. Notably, it was the first privately owned safari lodge built within Zimbabwe’s Zambezi National Park.

As a result, guests enjoy immersive wildlife encounters alongside easy access to Victoria Falls. In fact, on clear days, the mist from the Falls can be seen rising nearby.

Furthermore, the lodge appeals to a wide range of travellers. Whether seeking adventure, relaxation, or celebration, guests are well catered for. Consequently, families, honeymooners, corporates, and retirees all feel equally at home.

Meanwhile, spacious open-plan lounge, dining, and bar areas encourage relaxed social moments. In addition, an onsite fitness centre and the indulgent Toa Spa enhance the overall stay.

Experience & Activities:

Morning and Afternoon Game Drives: To begin the day, early morning drives reveal overnight wildlife movements. Alternatively, afternoon drives focus on relaxed exploration and golden sunsets. Throughout each outing, experienced guides share deep local knowledge.

Sunrise and Sunset River Cruises: Equally memorable, river cruises showcase the Zambezi’s changing moods. At sunrise, the river feels calm and restorative. Later in the day, sunset cruises offer wildlife viewing and sundowners.

Guided Tour of Victoria Falls: Naturally, no stay is complete without visiting Victoria Falls. During guided walks, guests experience the sound, spray, and scale firsthand. Along the way, guides provide historical and ecological insight.

Bird Watching: Additionally, the area is a haven for bird enthusiasts. Multiple habitats support an impressive diversity of species.
As a result, excellent birding is possible directly from the lodge.

For those seeking more, additional activities are available. These include canoe safaris, fishing, guided walks, and scenic flights. Adventure seekers can also enjoy rafting and ziplining.
