Our prime location along the Mara River is unrivalled for seeing and photographing animals all year around, but particularly to observe the greatest wildlife show on earth; over a million wildebeest, zebra and antelopes migrating from the Serengeti into the Masai Mara.

You may not realise how rare it is to witness a migration river crossing, because the wildebeest can hesitate on the riverbank for days before taking the leap! But since Entim’s main wing overlooks the Mara River, while the private wing has an intimate bush setting, Entim guests can be treated to migration crossings from within camp.

Entim guests are usually first on the scene, up close to all the action and other top animal sightings as and when they happen, without other vehicles around. And staying at Entim means you won’t have rush out of the reserve before gates close at 6.30pm, or drive for hours to get to wildlife action, because Entim is in the middle of it all in the heart of the Masai Mara National Reserve!

Entim Mara supports Molibanny Primary School, which educates 50 pupils aged 8 to 12 years from villages on the edge of the Masai Mara. If you would like to make your donation in person, transfers can be provided from Entim Camp to the primary school 30km away.

Accommodations

Luxury Tents: All 12 guest tents overlook the Mara River and are well-placed, en-suite with flush toilets and hot showers. There is a cozy lounge area with a small library, separate bar, and dining area, which is open-fronted allowing guests the unmatched experience of eating meals while watching the animals move to and from the river to drink and forage for their food. The camp has been designed to give guests the feel that it is part of the landscape.
