Lebala Camp

Lebala Camp sits on the floodplains of the Kwando River, and this special ecosystem is home to a wide variety of game, such as zebra, wildebeest, impala, giraffe, and tsessebe. The wonderful variety of wildlife also includes elephants, hippos, buffalo, lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. 

Experience & Activities       

Activities at Lebala are centred around predator tracking. With several active wild dog packs in the area, as well as prolific lion prides and healthy leopard populations, Lebala is a thrilling and engaging safari destination. Accompanied by highly trained guides and trackers, guests can participate in daily game drives and set off on seasonal guided walks.

For an exclusive experience, guests can book a private game vehicle for the duration of their visit; however, a private vehicle is compulsory for families with children aged 6 to 12 years old.  

The main areas of the camp include a small swimming pool, a communal fireplace and dining room, a curio shop, a bar and a lounge area, and a small library. Lebala Camp can organise private dinners by the poolside or fireplace for special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries and honeymoons.

Accommodations      

Standard Tent: Lebala Camp comprises nine custom-designed tents with unique mosquito net walls, allowing an unobstructed flow of cooling breezes and stunning views. Each spacious tent has its own viewing deck, bathroom, and luxurious double outside showers. 

Family Tent: One tent consists of a standard tent with an additional twin bedroom within the unit, ensuring that parents and young children sleep in the same tent for peace of mind.
