History and modern luxury merge to create ageless beauty at the Victoria & Alfred Hotel, which was built in 1904 as the North Quay Warehouse. This iconic establishment was named after Queen Victoria and her son, Prince Alfred who played an intrinsic role in the establishment of the Breakwater Basin, now the V&A Waterfront.
Drawing from the rich history of Franschhoek, this La Clé des Montagnes manor exudes an air of sophistication throughout the abundant interiors. The manoir is home to our main reception, lounge, library and dining at La Clé Village where guests come together for meals or to enjoy the rolling lawns, pool and ample living spaces.
Hunter’s Country House is located along South Africa’s Garden Route, a swift 10km drive from Plettenberg Bay, close enough for convenience and far enough from bustling crowds. This sprawling rural retreat is set amid sprawling lawns, with lush trees casting shade over wandering butterflies while a soft cacophony of bird songs waft about on the wind. Nestled in the heart of the Garden Route with towns like Knysna and George a short drive away, Plett is the perfect combination of country and coast.
And at Melton Manner, tap into specialist safari experiences like photography, conservation activities, birding and more. For slower days, retreat in the library with your favourite book or opt-in for wellness treatments, which can be enjoyed in the privacy of your suite. This sole-use safari villa’s welcoming U-shape and four ensuite bedrooms are cleverly designed around the central courtyard and its large, inviting swimming pool. All the accommodation at Grootbos has been designed to complement the pristine natural setting: The Garden Lodge has a warm homely feel as you walk into the reception area, the pool and restaurants offer a relaxing atmosphere as you overlook the magnificent views of Walker Bay. The eleven luxury, one bedroom and two-bedroom suites are decorated with natural hues.
