Situated a mere 29 kilometres south east from Windhoek and on a hilltop overlooking a spectacular landscape, GoheGanas is a luxury lodge offering a unique combination of wildlife, nature and wellness experiences. The tranquil surroundings, stunning landscapes and glimpses of herds of game beckons guests to enjoy the variety of activities on offer, ranging from our outdoor activities such as walks and guided game drives, to relaxing in the comfort of the wellness village.

The architecture and decor of all buildings at GocheGanas incorporates local arts and crafts in celebration of the culture of Namibia. The lodge offers 16 totally private chalets under thatched roof with uninterrupted and spectacular views over the surrounding reserve. The luxurious accommodation consists of 15 double chalets and a family chalet with two interleading bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom.

The nature reserve is home to 25 different large game species roaming the 6000-hectare of the reserve. The game total approx. 1,600 animals including rhino, bat-eared fox, giraffe, mountain- and plains zebra, cheetah, jackal and leopard, blue- and black wildebeest, eland, oryx, red hartebeest, kudu, springbok, waterbuck, steenbok, duiker, klipspringer, ostrich and warthog! A fascinating variety of birds are also found on the reserve and many can be spotted at the wellness village, as well as at the areas surrounding the lodge.

Wellness is a holistic approach to health that combines all aspects of physical, mental and spiritual well-being to realign mind, body and soul. The GocheGanas wellness village boasts a top of the range selection of wellness treatments, products and services.

The wellness village consists of 11 specialist treatment rooms featuring state of the art equipment, a heated indoor swimming pool under a cathedral like masonry vault, an outdoor swimming pool on the oasis peninsula affording breathtaking views, a granite bath (cave sauna), Kneipp showers and also include fitness, gym and yoga facilities, as well as a fruit and juice bar.
