Etosha Oberland Lodge

The Etosha Oberland Lodge opened in March 2020 and is located near Anderson Gate in a private nature reserve adjacent to the Etosha National Park. Large mopane trees provide many private places that have a fantastic view of the wide grassy plain and the waterhole. Guests can observe proliferate wildlife whilst enjoying a sundowner from the restaurant terrace after eventful days in the Etosha National Park.

The lodge offers an inviting lobby, restaurant and bar with an adjoining lounge with fire pit. To enhance the experience, guests are invited to enjoy a viewing deck and swimming pool, as well as free Wi-Fi in communal areas.

The accommodation comprises of 18 beautifully appointed chalets that offer comfortable amenities such as an en-suite bathroom, an outdoor shower and a private sun terrace, equipped with comfortable chairs. Further facilities include air conditioning, a tea and coffee station with fridge, mosquito nets, a hairdryer and a safe.

There are 15 one-bedroom chalets and another 3 chalets with an additional bedroom. All chalets are 75 square meter in size and the tasteful design and stylish decor provide the background for an unforgettable stay. All chalets are positioned apart from each other, hardly perceived by their neighbours and provides much privacy.

For guests that would like to do game drives in Etosha National Park the lodge offers safaris in a 4×4 game viewing vehicle accompanied by a guide within depth knowledge of wildlife in the area. Departure varies seasonally, depending on park opening hours, and return around 14:00-16:00. The trips last for approximately 7-8 hrs with a minimum of 2 guests and a maximum of 9 guests per vehicle.
