At Ikuka, every day brings a new adventure in Ruaha’s spectacular wilderness. Morning game drives set off at sunrise, often with a bush breakfast in hand. Afternoon safaris capture the park’s golden light as predators become active. Open 4WD vehicles and expert guides bring you close to Ruaha’s incredible wildlife. Each route changes with the seasons, animal movements, and your interests.

For a deeper connection to nature, join a guided walking safari. On foot, every sound and scent becomes vivid. You may follow elephant paths, listen to distant lions, or notice tiny tracks often missed from a vehicle. Walks are led by a professional guide and a TANAPA ranger, and are open to guests aged 16 and above. Bird lovers will find Ruaha exceptional. It holds the highest number of bird species in Tanzania, offering endless sightings and surprises.
