Detailed itinerary
Day 1-3: Sayari Camp OR Roho ya Selous
Upon arrival, your guide will meet you for a quick briefing, then whisk you off to your selected camp, either Sayari Camp in Serengeti or Roho ya Selous in Nyerere. Settle in with lunch and enjoy the views on the banks of the Mara River or the shores of Lake Nzerakera. Afternoon game drives introduce you to the mesmerizing wildlife world surrounding you. Spend your nights under the canopy of stars, absorbing the serene wilderness.
During your stay, you can opt for early morning game drives with a picnic breakfast, or enjoy breakfast at the camp and head out with a picnic lunch. In Nyerere, don’t miss the unique opportunity to participate in a boating safari, offering a different perspective on the wildlife in this region.
Day 4-6: Fanjove Private Island OR Breezes Beach Club & Spa
After three exhilarating days in the bush, a flight will transport you to the soothing shores of either Zanzibar or Fanjove Private Island. If arriving in Zanzibar, you will be taken to Zuri Zanzibar Hotel where the enchantment of island life awaits. Dabble in water sports, enjoy a Swahili cooking class, or simply relax on the beach.
If arriving in Fanjove, after a boat trip, settle into your A-framed wooden banda at Fanjove Private Island. Live out your Robinson Crusoe fantasies on an island teeming with sea birds, nesting turtles and coconut crabs. Explore the area with a sandbank picnic, go kayaking around the island, or dive into the vibrant underwater world surrounding the island’s virgin coral reef.
Day 7: Departure
On your final day, you will be transferred to either Zanzibar Airport or Songo Songo island, then flown back to Dar es Salaam. From there, you will check-in for your international flight home.
