The lodges epic views are only the beginning as the area surrounding has superb year-round game viewing of the entire big 5. And on top of that, the annual wildebeest migration which crosses the Mara river just a few kilometres from camp.

Lamai Serengeti is perched on a high kopje (boulder hill) which overlooks the Northern Serengeti plains and onto the Masai Mara beyond. Each section of the lodge and rooms make use of this incredible view and it is something that you won’t easily forget.

The lodge has eight open-fronted rooms, all having their own private verandas with spectacular views. All rooms have 24hr power and en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water, flush toilets and powerful showers. There are also two-family rooms which each consist of two bedrooms sharing a bathroom.

The main area is large, roomy and contains a lounge, bar, dining area, library and has a large separate swimming pool.

Apart from the view, the main attraction up here is the access to incredible game viewing. The lodge is a few kilometres from where the wildebeest annually cross the Mara river (Aug/Sep is typically best), but the game viewing here is excellent year around with all members of the big 5 in abundance as well as good numbers of Cheetah. The activities on offer are game drives, walking safaris, bush picnics and sundowners.
