Experience & Activities 

For an authentic safari experience, dinner at Onguma Forest camo takes place in the wilderness under the night sky. With a view of the stars and carefully selected wine from the cellar, every evening becomes an unforgettable experience. 

Guests can spend their afternoon at the swimming pool, enjoying a massage, setting off on a game drive in the Etosha National Park or on an Onguma sunset tour. If you prefer physical activity, you have the opportunity to take part in a guided bush walk in search of the big game before finding a quiet spot at the Onkolo photo hide. 

Since the camp is unfenced, children under seven years are unfortunately not allowed for safety reasons. Participation in the game drives, which take place in open safari vehicles, is only possible for children aged ten and over. 

Accommodations   

Onguma Forest Camp offers several private accommodation options. All bungalows feature large double beds and mosquito nets and have their own bathroom with shower and toilet, private seating and terrace and a small mini-bar. 

The Explorer Bungalows are perfect for those who love adventure. These private bungalows feature large twin beds and include ensuite facilities, air-conditioning, and a private patio. 

The Heritage Bungalow features a thatched roof, twin beds, an ensuite bathroom, and an outside patio. 

The Bush Suite is excellent for families, comprising two bedrooms, one with a sleeper couch and the second with two twin beds. The interleading bathroom separates the two rooms. 

The Honeymoon Suite is particularly secluded, and its outdoor shower and bathtub serve as an additional highlight.  

The Dream Cruiser is Onguma’s newest and most exciting addition for adventurers, romantics and those who like being close to nature. Custom-built onto a Land Cruiser, the Dream Cruiser offers guests the opportunity to spend a romantic and adventurous night in the reserve’s wilderness. Built on two levels, the Dream Cruiser features a full bathroom downstairs with a shower, flush toilet and basin. The upper deck features a bedroom with a lounge area to take in the views. A ranger is on call via a two-way radio so guests can make the most of this time and relax in safety and complete comfort of this unique space.
