Set on the edge of a small river bed that attracts plenty of game in a wilderness area, Pembezoni Classic Green Camp manages to combine superb game viewing with exclusivity – a rare mix for the Serengeti.

Pembezoni is a luxury semi-permanent tented camp based in a wilderness zone of central Serengeti. These wilderness zones are off limits to majority of visitors ensuring tranquillity and exclusivity. The area is also particularly productive for game viewing as is the rest of central Serengeti.

The camp has nine luxury large tents complete with en-suite bathrooms and eco-toilets. Fresh drinking water is provided, and bucket showers are prepared by staff on request. The main area consists of a large dining tent which houses a library, lounge and bookshelf. Charging facilities are also in this tent with power provided from solar. There is a great outdoor bush bar by the fireplace which overlooks the Serengeti and the nearby riverbed with its frequent elephant and buffalo visitors.

Pembezoni Classic Green Camp is one of few that offer serious walking safaris with experienced guides in the Serengeti. Walks take place directly from camp and head into the wilderness zone and can be either half day, full day or multi day trips with a light weight fly camp.

Pembezoni combines well with sister camp Ngorongoro Classic Green Camp. Add on a few nights fly camping and walking in the wilderness and you’ve experienced the real essence of the Serengeti!
