Sunshine Hotel – Eco friendly, stylish and cozy, carefully designed by professional designers, creating a unique chilled-out ambiance to make you feel happy and relaxed. Set right on the unspoiled white sandy beach, lined with palm trees and washed by warm, turquoise waters of Indian Ocean, it’s a perfect getaway from every-day life.

Sunshine Hotel is a 15 room, beach hotel, located in Matemwe on the north-east coast of Zanzibar. The hotel is small and cozy. It is set right on the beautiful stretch of beach so you can go for long walks, ride a bike or just sunbathe.

In every room you find a comfortable queen size bed with large mosquito net, private bathroom with shower and toilet, effective ceiling fan, strong standing fan, small bedside fan, safe deposit box, stone bench covered with cushions, wooden wardrobe, cool ambient lights, spacious balcony or veranda. All the rooms are doubles but in all the Sunshine Suites it is possible to add one extra bed. They do not have family or interconnected rooms.

You can also relax on the balconies or verandas of our rooms, cool down with a refreshing drink in the swimming pool facing the Ocean and chill out on nicely cold and comfortable traditional benches in the lounge area of our restaurant.

They have a restaurant serving wide variety of delicious food, a bar serving wide variety of delicious drinks and a cool and comfortable lounge area where you can relax and chill (and use the Internet).
