This privately-owned camp, surrounded by pristine wilderness, provides an intimate and immersive experience for adventurers. Here, you can partake in guided walks and game drives through some of the most untamed and diverse landscapes in Southern Africa. The camp overlooks the Deka floodplains, the headwaters of the Deka River, perfectly embodying the essence of “big sky country.”
Experience & Activities:
At Daka Plains, game drives are available in the mornings and afternoons/evenings. The morning drive is typically longer, featuring a coffee/tea and snack break. Afternoon drives are shorter and include sundowners at a scenic spot, with the drive back to the lodge occurring at dusk. Night drives can be arranged upon request. The camp’s activities, set against the backdrop of Hwange’s low foothills, offer an opportunity to explore one of the most remote and diverse areas in the park, with sweeping views toward the Makgadikgadi.
