Dinaka lies within a private conservancy along the northern edge of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Spanning more than 40,000 hectares, the reserve protects one of Southern Africa’s most unique ecosystems.

Here, desert adapted wildlife thrives across open pans and grasslands. Guests may encounter Kalahari lion, springbok, oryx, and brown hyena. Furthermore, year round waterholes create consistent wildlife activity near camp.

The property earned five star status from the Botswana Tourism Board. In addition, Dinaka holds EcoTourism certification.

Dinaka offers a classic Kalahari safari with strong conservation roots. The camp sits beside permanent water sources, which attract wildlife throughout the year. As a result, sightings remain rewarding in every season.

During the annual rains, the desert transforms into lush vegetation. Consequently, landscapes shift from golden plains to vibrant green grasslands. This seasonal change adds depth to the safari experience.

Raised wooden walkways connect all areas of camp. Therefore, the lodge remains accessible for wheelchair users. A swimming pool, dining area, bar, and campfire overlook the waterhole. Guests may also arrive via private airstrip or by road.
