Located in Lilongwe’s quiet northern suburbs, this beautiful lodge is named after the Heuglin’s Robin that nests in the verdant gardens. Originally a private residence, it has been lovingly renovated and developed to comprise eight en suite rooms, a large swimming pool and a spacious, eclectically decorated lounge and dining area. There is an honesty bar, an extensive wildlife library, satellite TVs in each room, and a super-fast WiFi connection. While the lodge is bookable for guests on a safari at the beginning or end of their stay, it is also geared towards long-term stays in Lilongwe.

Enjoy high-quality, home-cooked meals – incorporating local and seasonal produce – on the lodge veranda overlooking an extensive garden and pool. Vibrant bougainvillea and thriving birdlife compliments the warm and peaceful atmosphere at Heuglin’s – with many guests calling it a “home away from home.”
