A romantic and quiet tented camp set under the shade of large trees from where one can set out and explore the diverse landscape looking for its wildlife inhabitants. The region is particularly productive for the viewing of leopards and elephants whilst on game-drive.

Mashatu Tented Camp is the more intimate and romantic version of its sister camp. Here couples will find retreat with the camps minimum age of 12 years old, making this a non-family friendly camp. It is however in a beautiful and well wooded setting which feels as though you are entering an oasis compared to the surrounding arid landscape.

Guests are accommodated in eight elevated walk-in size tents which are well spread out over the campgrounds for added privacy. They each have an outdoor en-suite bathroom with flushing toilets and hot water showers. The perfect room style for honeymooners or couples seeking some romance.

There is a main bar and lounge area where guests can relax, whilst meals are usually served in the boma overlooking the dry riverbed. The camp also sports a plunge pool for those hotter days.

The diversity of activities are a big attraction to the area with game-drives (night, day and offroad), mountain biking, walking safaris and horse riding safaris. However, many of these come at an extra cost.
