View on Google EarthParadise Sun Seychelles is located at the quiet-end of a 2-km stretch of white coral-crushed sand bordered by granite boulders and is a collection of charming ocean facing French-Creole bungalows peeking out from tropical flowering gardens. The turquoise horizon is interrupted only by the postcard beauty of St Pierre Island and bobbing sail boats.
Paradise Sun offers just 26 beach bungalows, housing a total of 80 rooms, all settled in the tropical garden of the one Praslin’s best locations. Rooms all have their own private wide wooden deck and double sliding doors that open out onto wide panoramas of the gardens and the beach. Every room is just seconds from powder soft white sand and warm turquoise ocean.
The French-Creole inspired bungalows at this Praslin resort hotel happily marry charming details like wooden floors and shutters with wrought iron edged mirrors, cool ceramic tiles and exposed granite walls. High ceilings with fans and air-conditioning ensure degree-perfect comfort for afternoon naps or long uninterrupted sleep-in comfortable king- or queen-sized beds. Modern touches like free uncapped Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV are some of those nice-to-have home comforts in all accommodation options.
The design of the bungalows is in the classic French colonial inspired Creole style. High pitched roofs, large double doors and wide spacious verandas make the most of natural ventilation and make it easy to enjoy the outdoors with privacy. Every room blends into the gardens with colours that complement the palms and features that are inviting and charmingly ‘Seychelles’.
From breakfast poolside to lunch on the beach and dinner with the ocean lapping against St Pierre Beach Restaurant, cuisine at Paradise Sun is a menu of Creole-inspired, always-fresh, familiar-favourites and Seychelles flavours. From oven hot pizza to ocean fresh sashimi and jungle picked fruits to French style pastries, dining at this Praslin restaurant is a plate to remember.

Opt for something light or something to last you on your day-out and if you’re leaving early, let them know and they will deliver a selection of fruit, juice and cakes to your room the night before.
The Praslin Spa at Paradise Sun uses all natural, all organic ingredients gathered from the forests and bays of the Seychelles with massage and body conditioning techniques by Balinese-style trained therapists in a quiet corner of the tropical gardens. Harmonising ancient Chinese medicine philosophies with skilled therapists, the Paradise Sun Spa focuses on relaxation and rejuvenation helping to ease tension in muscles and mind.
I case you visiting the Seychelles with children you might be content with on a sun lounger and cocktail in hand, the kids, however, might need a little more stimulation…. In addition to a child-friendly pool, the Beach Clubhouse has snorkel masks, table tennis, volleyball and football for them to entertain themselves . The resort also plans a calendar of weekly kid’s activities such as:
- Shell Creations: Perfect treasures to take home or make for mum. The entertainer will teach little ones about the shells they might find on the beaches around the island and help make something special from them. Perfect for little ones.
- Coconut Demonstration: Learn how they grow, what they are used for and even how the Creole islanders use the palm fronds and leaves to weave everything from hats to baskets and brooms. And of course, taste fresh coconut from the tree. Great for all ages.
- Cooking Demonstration: Discover a little more about local flavours and what makes Seychellois cuisine so special. Learn about our freshly picked ingredients, different fish types, the fruitful fruits of the islands and best of all, get to taste it. Good for big kids and adults.
Paradise Sun boats some of the best Seychelles snorkelling spots with visibility nearing 30-metres, an amazing fish variety, friendly turtles, curious rays and a water temperature averaging 29-degrees!
