Manyeleti, meaning “place of stars” in the local Shangaan language, is owned and managed by the local Msisi tribe.

The Manyeleti Private Game Reserve is a 56,800 acre reserve that shares fenceless borders with the world famous Kruger National Park as well as the Timbavati and Sabi Sand Game Reserves, allowing the animals to move freely throughout this massive protected wildlife area. There are only three safari lodges in the whole reserve, which ensures an exclusive, off the beaten path experience with few other guests and vehicles around. The reserve is prime Big Five territory, with elephant, lion, leopard, rhino, and buffalo all present, as well as over 300 bird species.
