Detailed Itinerary
Day 1-4: Khwai Leadwood
Upon arrival at Maun airport, you will be met by a representative who will assist you with your light aircraft transfer to Khwai Leadwood, where you will spend the next 3 nights. Khwai is known for its abundant wildlife, particularly predators such as lions and leopards. You will have the opportunity to explore the area on morning and afternoon game drives and guided bush walks. You will also have the chance to visit the local Khwai community and learn about their way of life.
Day 4-6: Setari Camp
After your stay at Khwai Leadwood, you will be transferred by light aircraft to Setari Camp, where you will spend the next 2 nights. Setari Camp is located in a private concession in the Okavango Delta and offers a range of water and land-based activities, including mokoro (traditional dugout canoe) excursions, motorboat safaris, and guided bush walks. The area is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, hippos, and various antelope species.
Day 6-9: Linyanti Expeditions Camp
Your final destination on this safari is Linyanti Expeditions Camp, where you will spend the next 3 nights. This camp is located in a private concession in the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, a pristine wilderness area home to a high concentration of wildlife, including large herds of elephants and buffalo, as well as predators such as lions, leopards, and wild dogs. You will have the opportunity to explore the area on morning and afternoon game drives and guided bush walks. You will also have the chance to experience the reserve from a different perspective on a boat cruise along the Linyanti River.
After your stay at Linyanti Expeditions Camp, you will be transferred by light aircraft back to Maun airport for your onward journey.
