Topi House is located in a small thorn-tree forest between Olare Orok Conservancy and the Masai Mara National Reserve, in a site carefully chosen to maximise the striking views over the National Park boundary and into the reserve beyond. From this coveted spot you enjoy unrivalled access to the eastern side of the Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Your private bush experience begins the minute you land at Ol Kiombo airstrip: even the short drive home to Topi House is an incredible game-viewing opportunity. Designed to be your very own private bush home in the middle of Africa’s greatest ecosystem, Topi House occupies a coveted spot arguably in one of the best locations in the Mara. The views, space around the house and old charm of the House will certainly inspire that “Out of Africa” feeling with guests. No wonder that guests return to Topi House time and time again, with some staying for 4 weeks at a time!

The house has three spacious en-suite bedrooms that are linked by a large veranda running along the front facade. At the far end is the living area, which is made up of an open-plan sitting/dining room complete with an open log fire. Guests can also relax around a campfire near the house under the stars. Your team will prepare all meals to the usual high standard and will cater for bush picnics, or lunches out on the lawn under the shade of the acacia trees. Like Acacia and Mara Houses, Topi House is not hosted, but comes with a full complement of well-trained and experienced staff at your disposal, including a chef, professional safari guide and house manager. Together they ensure a seamlessly run and personal safari experience. The area, with its rolling hills, is also ideal for bush picnics and sundowners with a view.
