Zambezi Mubala Camp

Zambezi Mubala Camp sits 40 kilometres east of Katima Mulilo on the Zambezi River. The camp offers shade, serenity, and the calls of Fish Eagles. This is glamping for travellers who love comfort and the outdoors.

Eight self-catering safari tents sleep up to four guests each. Every tent has an en-suite bathroom, equipped kitchen, veranda, fridge, mosquito nets, and a water cooler. Guests may cook meals, order from the à la carte restaurant, or enjoy a braai under the stars.
The camp includes a cold-water swimming pool, a children’s playground, a curio shop, and WiFi at reception. This is a safe, relaxing base for exploring Namibia’s greenest region.

Experiences & Activities:

Sundowner cruises reveal the soft colours of the Zambezi at dusk. Morning cruises offer superb bird viewing and photography. Guided fishing trips include tackle and bait, with boats limited to two guests. Tailor-made fishing excursions are available on request. Seasonal guided walks explore local bird colonies when conditions allow. Day trips to Chobe National Park and Victoria Falls can be arranged.

The camp features eight safari tents set along the river. Each tent offers four beds, an en-suite bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. Private verandas provide peaceful river views. Guests can self-cater, dine at the restaurant, or request a braai pack. The tents offer comfortable, spacious glamping in a tranquil natural setting.
