A luxury safari lodge perched on a hill overlooking Lake Kariba, in a remote section of Zimbabwe. Bumi Hills makes for a perfect starting or ending point in combination with its many sister safari camps in Zimbabwe.

Bumi Hills Safari Lodge is located in northern Zimbabwe, atop a hill overlooking Lake Kariba, in an area only accessible to clients by plane. The lodge boasts one of the most spectacular views we have come across in Africa! This lodge combines particularly well with sister camps in Zimbabwe with convenient charter flights and special offer deals, making it great value for money considering the quality!

The lodge has 10 luxury lake view suites containing all the bells and whistles and also have an uninterrupted view over the lake. Even your private outdoor shower makes use of the view! Also available is the Baobab Villa which is a private two-bedroom villa, perfect for families.

The main area contains two separate bars, a stunning infinity pool overlooking the lake, a firepit and a dining deck.

Activities on offer include game drives, boating safaris, walking safaris, sunset cruises and fishing. Bumi Hills Safari Lodge is situated on a private wildlife conservation area that is home to four of the Big5 and other plains game alike. The wildlife viewing here is good but doesn’t however compare to sister camps where the viewing is simply outstanding. So, we would rather recommend your main game viewing to be at sister camps (Somalisa Expeditions, Kanga Camp, Zambezi Expeditions) and leaving Bumi as a luxurious stop over, to enjoy the lake and views, with wildlife being an added bonus and not the main event.
