Embedded in the Nyae Nyae Conservancy and on the edge of the Kalahari desert, Nhoma Safari Camp presents a distinctive, immersive cultural experience. Discover the history and traditions of the Ju|’hoan San Bushmen with hunting and tracking expeditions, veld food gathering, crafting of hunting equipment, traditional games, and healing dances.
With its close proximity to the local Nhoma village, Nhoma Safari Camp allows you to witness the life of the Ju|’hoan San Bushmen first-hand. Engage in village activities like cooking, crafting, hide preparing, and observe traditional games and dances. Accompany hunters on a bush walk, become a part of the captivating healing dance ceremonies, or experience the ancient art of fire-making, rope-making and setting traps.

Dotted under the canopy of Zambezi Teak trees, Nhoma Safari Camp provides accommodation in well-spaced safari tents, each raised on wooden decks.
Safari Tents Appointed with double beds and ensuite bathrooms, each tent perfectly blends comfort and a rustic ambiance. The outdoor deck in front of each tent offers a serene spot to soak in the lush views of the surrounding vegetation.
Amenities include a small safe for securing your valuables. Electricity is absent in the tents, maintaining the camp’s authentic safari vibe. Batteries can be charged in the camp’s dining area, which is also the location where meals and drinks are served, all included in the accommodation price.
At Nhoma Safari Camp, the essence of wilderness is respected with the use of solar power and the provision of water from the village borehole, which is completely safe to drink. Hot water supply is maintained through wood-fired boilers. Mobile phone reception and satellite WiFi are available, ensuring you stay connected, even in the midst of an African desert.
