Experience & Activities:
Days at Chicari flow with nature’s rhythm and expertly guided exploration. Guests embark on thrilling drives to encounter lions, elephants, and wild dogs. Meanwhile, walking safaris begin directly from camp, allowing a deeper, slower connection to the environment. During the wetter season, boat excursions reveal the beauty of the Urema floodplain. These trips showcase Gorongosa’s landscapes from another perspective. Birdwatchers delight in every season. Especially when the pan transforms into a vibrant wetland filled with lilies and flocks of wading birds. Furthermore, meals, sundowners, and fireside gatherings weave each adventure into a complete safari experience.
