Within easy access of the Chobe National Park, Tlouwana Camp is surrounded by impressive Acacia and Jackalberry trees, with all tents built on wooden decking. The Chobe boasts copious wildlife, most notably the richest concentration of elephants in Africa for which the region is famed.

Tlouwana Camp is a classic all-inclusive Chobe Safari on the doorstep of Botswana’s world-famous Chobe National Park, offering a luxurious and affordable tented safari experience for couples and families. It is ideal for both experienced safari travellers and first time visitors to Africa.

Tlouwana Camp is located in Lesoma Valley, which sits on the border with Zimbabwe and forms part of the Kasane Forest Reserve. Wildlife frequents the area, in particular elephants, buffaloes, and giraffes. The valley is a forty minute drive through the forest reserve to access Chobe National Park via Sedudu gate. Boat cruises for lodges in Lesoma Valley depart from Kasane town.

Experience & Activities

Guests can participate in boat cruises and game drives in Chobe National Park, a guided day trip to Victoria Falls, a night drive in Chobe Forest Reserve, and a Lesoma Village cultural tour with bicycles.

Accommodations

Classic Safari Tents: Each tent has been erected over raised pine decking, and in addition to a choice of double or twin beds, you’ll have an en-suite bathroom and outdoor shower to wash away the dust from the day’s activities under the sky and stars.
Family Safari Tent: Families, if you need extra space, ask for the family tent. It boasts a double bed and two 3/4 beds, all in one large pine decked Bedouin tent.
