Emboo River offers guests a unique safari experience which is luxurious, relaxing, educational as well as fully eco friendly, sustainable and community focused.

Guests will enjoy the abundant views of wildlife from the River Camp and can make use of daily Game Drives which take you on adventures through the Maasai Mara on electric powered vehicles.  Every year between July and October the Great Migration include millions of wildebeest, zebra and antilope which migrate across the eco system of the Maasai Mara and the Serengeti in search of lush grass. Guests can also opt to enjoy a balloon safari with breathaking views as the sun rises over the Maasai Mara, followed by delicious fresh breakfast in the savannah.

In the evenings Emboo River regularly hosts Maasai Warriors who perform traditional songs and dances. Visit a neighbouring Maasai Village to learn even more about the Maasai tribe. Emboo River’s natural swimming pool overlooks a part of the Talek river which is popular with animals who want to drink. As soon as the sun has set, the campfire provides the perfect spot to talk about the adventures of the day, gaze at the stars and listen to the tales of the Maasai.

Accommodations

Located along the river bend, your room blends in perfectly with the nature around it as the sides of the room open fully with floor-to-ceiling views over the river.  The modern furniture is handmade from natural materials by local artisans and the room is decorated with lush fabrics and vibrant colors, so you will feel right at home.  Your en-suite bathroom features a rain shower with warm running water thanks to solar heaters.  Your terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy room service and take in the beauty that surrounds you.  Solar power provides 24-7 electricity to each glamorous room.
