Experience & Activities   

 A highlight at Tuli Safari Lodge Mashatu is the experience of the “moving tables” – dinner and brunch in a different location for each meal. On a 2-night stay, guests would experience a bush brunch or dinner, as well as private dining set up in surprise spots around the camp or on their own patios.  The extensive lodge gardens and grounds include a large swimming pool, waterhole, hide and walking trail.  

 Tuli Safari Lodge Mashatu offers a range of safari activities; game drives in the morning as well as the afternoon, optional after-dinner night drives, as well as guided bush walks. The reserve is an ideal venue for bush walks, which offer the opportunity to experience Africa at ground level. Our hides, sited at waterholes, offer another dimension. Guests can also enjoy meaningful community visits to the nearby village. A community visit to the local village of Mothlabaneng includes a visit to the school, a lala palm wine tasting and a chance to see traditional basket-weaving, as well as the opportunity to see some of our community projects in action.   

Accommodations         

The eight luxury tented suites are roomy, bright, and elevated with canvas walls/roofs on timber frames. Large decks offer peaceful outdoor spaces with Tuli and bush views. Interiors are a modern take on the classic “out of Africa” style and include an island bed, lounge, freestanding bath, separate large shower, double sink vanity, separate toilet, and plenty of storage. Kids can sleep in two single beds in the lounge area.
