AtholPlace House & Villa

AtholPlace House & Villa is situated in the heart of Atholl, one of the most beautiful parts of Johannesburg and only a short distance from the commercial centre of Sandton.  These two exclusive use properties offer complete privacy and a team of staff on hand to ensure a memorable stay. 

Breakfast is included and a full board option is available for guests at both AtholPlace Villa and AtholPlace House. The in-house Chef will be on hand daily to tailor the meals around guests’ preferences. Mealtimes are flexible and the Chefs source local fresh produce wherever possible.

The vibrant city of Johannesburg has much to offer, when it comes to exploring its’ resident’s culture and rich history. Located conveniently, close to Sandton, excellent shopping opportunities await, in the so-called “richest square mile of South Africa”. 

Beyond this, plenty of the city’s highlights, such as day tours to Soweto, the country’s largest township, city tours, visits to the Apartheid Museum and tours of the bustling art scenes in Maboneng and Newtown, with local experts, can be added to your experience. 

In-house treats include aromatherapy treatments and massages, with intuitive and highly qualified therapists, as well as leisurely relaxation at the sparkling swimming pool. 

Accommodation 

The property’s two villas, can be rented exclusively as a unit, or separately. 

• AtholPlace Villa is our four-bedroom Relais & Chateaux exclusive-use city villa in Johannesburg. A ‘home-from-home’ accommodating up to eight guests, the first-floor houses three, spacious deluxe bedrooms and one cosier bedroom, all with en-suite bathrooms. On the ground level, guests enjoy elegant living and dining spaces that extend to the beautifully landscaped private garden, sparkling pool and cheerful boma beyond. 
• Atholplace House is the bigger of the 2 properties and with nine bedrooms en-suite the ideal venue for large multi-generational families or corporate getaways. Guest are able to enjoy the many spaces across the house, including the bar and library with romantic fireplace, the temperature controlled swimming pool, the gym and the lush garden to relax and unwind in.
