Located just an hour’s transfer from Mfuwe Airport and nestled on a 60-acre site along the Luangwa River, Chinzombo stands as Zambia’s premier safari camp. Designed by renowned architects Silvio Rech & Lesley Carstens, this next-generation camp features six luxurious villas, including a family-specific option. Each villa boasts private pools, eco-cooled sleeping areas, and Wi-Fi. Chinzombo seamlessly blends the traditional bush camp with modern luxury, using natural building materials and vintage accents to integrate with the wild surroundings.

Guests at Chinzombo can enjoy the rich tapestry of Luangwa Valley’s wildlife right from their private verandah, including sightings of elephants, hippos, lions, and leopards. Chinzombo boasts a collection of six spacious luxury safari tents, including a specially designed two-bedroom, two-bathroom family tent, each nestled beneath ancient msikizi trees. The luxury safari tents feature private pools and soaking tubs with panoramic river views, large verandahs for wildlife watching, and spacious interiors complete with lounge areas. Eco-cooled sleeping areas, mains electricity, and limited Wi-Fi and phone signal are provided for a truly immersive nature experience. The main lodge area enhances the guest experience with dining areas, a lounge, bar, fire pit, and a riverfront deck, creating a communal space for relaxation and socializing amidst the stunning beauty of Zambia’s wildlife sanctuary.
