Mushara Outpost

The Mushara Outpost is located in central Namibia, only a few kilometres from the east entrance to the famous Etosha National Park. The Mushara Outpost Lodge stands for luxury, comfort and idyllic safari experiences and elegantly combines both aspects.

The accommodations consist of spacious tents, each built on wooden poles in the middle of the Namibian bush. So you have a wonderful view into the wilderness. Each tent is unbelievably spacious and has been furnished with loving extras so that living here is far different from the normal camping experience. The floor is not tent canvas but parquet flooring, the entrance is through a sliding door and glass windows, which reach from floor to ceiling and are equipped with fly screens, making the space appear even larger.

Besides air conditioning, each accommodation has its own bathroom with separate toilet and glass shower. Depending on how far you open the shower curtain, you can enjoy a wonderful view over Namibia’s wilderness during your shower.

Each tent is comfortable and furnished with everything you need. Besides some seating, a private veranda and mini- and coffee bar, large canopy beds with mosquito nets form the centre of the room.  Each tent also has electricity, a hairdryer, a telephone and a safe deposit box.

The main building is reminiscent of a farmhouse and has a bright and warm dining area, as well as a veranda overlooking the cosy fireplace, which invites you to sit together and share stories.  The lodge’s swimming pool is ideal for relaxing and swimming in the sun and provides the perfect holiday feeling.

To perfect the safari experience, game drives to the neighbouring Etosha National Park are offered. Here you have the opportunity to observe the BIG 5 in their natural habitat in peace and quietness. And for those who want to be completely amongst themselves, private game drives are offered as well.
