Olive Exclusive

The Olive Exclusive is conveniently located in an upmarket area close to all amenities and attractions in Windhoek. There are seven suites, each suite is individually decorated to reflect the different regions in Namibia, and each has its own lounge area with fireplace and dining room, for private dining. Air-conditioning, high definition satellite TV and iPod docking stations are standard, as is a computer with Wi-Fi access. In addition there is a two-bedroom apartment for families.

Wide glass doors open onto spacious decks where you can relax on a shady daybed, enjoy al fresco lunches or, if yours is a premium suite, take a dip in your own private plunge pool. Such are the creature comforts that you may find it hard to leave: sink into an extra-length bed dressed in crisp, pure-cotton linen, or indulge in a bubble bath in a free-standing tub with sweeping mountain views.

Each suite at Olive Exclusive is individually themed around a region of Namibia: Caprivi, Etosha, Erongo and Kunene. Descriptive photographs and natural elements unique to each area are matched with complementary linen, furniture and fittings. Well-placed and easily adjustable lighting adds to the relaxing ambience.

The Olive Exclusive’s four Premier Suites have front-row position overlooking the olive grove and valley beyond, and tall glass windows make the most of the views. Doors lead to a large deck with a plunge pool, sun loungers and additional seating.

The bedroom is furnished with a super-king-size bed or twin beds, bedside tables, vanity table and plenty of cupboard space. The lounge and dining area are well-appointed with comfy seating, coffee table, reading material, desk, laptop, complimentary Wi-Fi and fixed-line internet, telephone, gas fireplace, well-stocked minibar, Nespresso coffee machine, dining table and chairs. Wall-mounted satellite TVs and air conditioners are located in the bedroom and lounge areas.

The en-suite bathroom separates into a large walk-in shower plus a toilet. Double basins are mounted on marble benchtops with an overhanging mirror. A deep free-standing bath is positioned to enjoy the outside views, and an eco-friendly range of body products, fluffy towels, candles and under-floor heating complete the amenities.

The three Junior Suites are set within their own private courtyards with outdoor seating. Large glass windows and cool screeded floors complement the light and spacious interiors. Well placed and easily adjustable lighting adds to the relaxing ambience.

The Olive Apartment is not at the same extremely high level of the suites at The Olive Exclusive, but it is a comfortable, tastefully decorated two-bedroom apartment with lounge, dining area and fully equipped but basic kitchen

The Olive Exclusive boasts a quality restaurant featuring a seasonal menu with inventive signature dishes. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner in either the relaxed interior, or on the outdoor terrace with wonderful views of the encircling mountains. The fully stocked bar also features a classic selection of fine whisky.
