What is this safari about?

Mobile safaris are based on an old tried and tested formula to ‘take everything along, but leave nothing behind’. Each journey can be tailored for groups in terms of route, location, needs, and interests and can be designed for small groups of between four and 15 people over four to 14 nights, depending on your schedule.

Guided by the best

The best local guides fully guide the safaris, and guests travel between locations in open-game-viewing vehicles. Chartered flights between some locations can also be arranged.

Accommodation: Private and personal

Accommodation is in private canvases set up expressly at each location for the safari. The mobile safari crew moves them between sites using a truck, setting up the camp before you arrive.

Customisable comfort

Guests can decide the camp’s level of luxury. Still, all will be in private tents (with proper beds) with ensuite bathrooms, including a bucket shower (hot water) and basic toilet.

Who can go?

Small groups or families with a minimum of four guests for at least four nights. This setup ensures a personalised and intimate safari experience.
For groups of less than four people or individual travellers, there are scheduled mobile safaris that can be joined, offering a chance to meet new people with similar interests.
The minimum recommended age is 12, ensuring all participants can fully engage and safely enjoy the safari experience.

Our mobile safari takes you on a journey through some of Botswana’s most iconic and diverse landscapes. The safari itinerary includes spectacular locations such as Khwai, the enchanting Okavango Delta, Savute, and the vibrant Chobe riverfront.

Tours to the Central Kalahari or Nxai Pans are also available for those seeking experience in more remote areas.

To fully immerse yourself in each unique environment and wildlife experience, we recommend a minimum stay of two to three nights at each location. This allows you ample time to explore and appreciate each area’s distinct beauty and wildlife.

What should I expect to pay?

The cost of our mobile Botswana safaris is structured to cater to varying preferences and levels of comfort.

Fully inclusive rates start from USD $550 per person sharing, per night. They can go up to USD $850 per person per night, depending on the level of luxury you choose. These rates encompass a complete safari experience, ensuring that every aspect of your journey is handled with utmost attention to detail and quality.

Participation in mobile safaris: An interactive adventure

We offer ‘ participation mobile safaris ‘ for those looking for a more hands-on experience. In these safaris, guests are invited to partake in certain aspects of ‘camp life’, adding an element of adventure and camaraderie to the occasion.

Ablutions are shared facilities in this participation experience, enhancing the sense of being in the wild, and drinks are exclusive of the rate. These participation safaris are priced at around USD $250 per person per night sharing, offering an affordable yet authentic safari experience.

This option is perfect for those who enjoy a more communal and interactive safari atmosphere, as it lets you get closer to nature and fellow travellers.
