Experiences & Activities
The Mwiba Lodge is located in a 129,530-hectare wildlife reserve that borders the southern Serengeti and is a secluded retreat among massive boulders, ancient coral trees, and acacias, overlooking a rocky gorge on the Arugusinyai River. In harmony with this idyllic natural setting, the Mwiba Lodge offers an unparalleled experience of luxury adventure. This exclusive lodge combines traditional and modern design elements, creating an inviting, sophisticated sanctuary.
The interior design artfully integrates the natural surroundings with layers of textured cream tones, paired with suede, tan, and accents of chocolate and charcoal. From the linen-covered sofas with slanted arms to the artistically carved tables with wooden legs and cascading lighting, the ten double suites offer a spacious layout, where each space seamlessly flows into the next. The grey slate-lined infinity pool overlooks three springs where guests can enjoy the sights and sounds of a constant parade of wildlife.
The Mwiba Wildlife Reserve, a conservation concession dedicated to balancing wildlife and community, is available to only a handful of guests, allowing for an excellent, uncrowded safari experience in the greater Serengeti ecosystem. This vast wildlife reserve offers a variety of safari experiences. Game drives, bush walks, helicopter flights, fly-camping, and authentic cultural encounters are just a few of the magical experiences that begin in Mwiba, where a world full of adventure awaits you.
