Each tented suite contains a lounge cove with comfortable couches and coffee table, dressing area with handcrafted cupboards, net-draped king-size bed with bedside tables and lamps, writing desks, full-length wall mirror, and soft carpets, laid over teak floors to wander along. The surrounding area is cut by meandering rivers and peppered with ancient granite kopjes offering a dramatic backdrop for walking safaris. On a short walk out of Olmara, you will examine the tracks of the animals you have seen and learn how to interpret and understand the complex tale of the bush. Olmara also arranges multiple-night walking & fly camping expeditions escorted by professional guides. These trips venture into the beautiful wilderness area to the north of camp, where vehicles are not allowed.
