Hakusembe River Lodge offers a comfortable stopover for travels through the Caprivi. The chalets of the lodge are set on green lawns of a beautiful garden, amongst large trees and facing toward the sparkling river. Enjoy a beautiful sunset cruise and absorb the solitude of this special region accompanied by the sounds of birds and the soft flow of the river.

Hakusembe River Lodge, which is located on the southern bank of the Okavango River and not far from Rundu, is an ideal stopover for travellers who intend to travel from Etosha National Park venturing onwards through the Caprivi Strip (now also known as the Zambezi Region) towards the Victoria Falls. The accommodation consists of 20 comfortable chalets, most of which overlook the river and all are surrounded by shady trees. Each room has an en-suite bathroom and offers amenities such as a mosquito net, air conditioning, safe and fridge. The lodge also features a high standard campsite.

In the main area of the lodge, in addition to the reception, bar and restaurant, guests also find a large wooden deck where visitors can relax amidst the tropical vegetation of this unique region. On hot days, the spacious pool also offers welcome refreshment.

Popular activities at the lodge are boat trips, where one can enjoy the unique bird life or be enchanted by the colours of the sunset. Enthusiastic anglers will get their fill at tiger fishing.
