Nambwa Tented Lodge

The luxurious tent suites nestle tastefully into the leafy canopy of the African trees, as here special attention is paid to the surrounding nature and its inhabitants. Especially the ancient migration routes of the elephants should not be affected in any way and so the whole lodge was built on stilts at the edge of the forest. The gentle giants can thus walk undisturbed under the tents and it is a breathtaking spectacle in addition.

The individual suites are connected to each other and the main house of the lodge by long wooden walkways. The entire design is kept in warm and natural colours, so that the whole lodge blends in seamlessly with nature.

Each of the spacious tent suites is individually furnished in a tasteful yet luxurious and modern way. A private lounge, private veranda and private bathroom with shower and bathtub provide unique comfort in the middle of the wilderness. Large and comfortable double beds with mosquito nets ensure a heavenly sleep and not to forget the view, which is simply unique thanks to the high lying position and can even be enjoyed from the bed. So every awakening becomes an unforgettable experience!

The heart of the lodge is the legendary viewing platform where you can enjoy your dinner every evening with a spectacular view of the wilderness. It is not uncommon to see elephants, buffalo and many different species of antelope from here.

Thanks to the unique concept of the lodge, game drives are almost superfluous, as there is hardly a better opportunity to observe the wild animals of Africa than from the viewing platform of the lodge. Elephants and many other species meander under the footbridges of the lodge and are not disturbed by the activity above their heads. Of course game drives are still offered and give you the opportunity to explore more of the beautiful landscape and animal wildlife.

A special experience is the boat trip to a private island in the middle of the Kwando River and the visit to Kazile Island Lodge.
