In the remote northern section of the South Luangwa National Park lies Mapazi Camp, an off-grid tented camp providing an authentic camping experience in wilderness with a few essential comforts. The area abounds with wildlife yet lacks a game drive road infrastructure, so guests get to explore and experience this wild paradise on foot with armed game scouts.

The camp has a mere 3 tents that each have a river view. They are walk-in sized Meru tents with breezy large gauze panels and a large shaded porch with seating. Each tent comes equipped with sprung mattresses and comfy pillows, private bathrooms with flushing toilet, shower and a basin.

Mapazi Camp is far from any signal tower or wifi connection and is the perfect place to unplug and reconnect with the wilderness on walking safaris in a truly wild and remote African setting.
