Tracks & Trail River Camp is a rustic and well-located camp in Zambia’s Luangwa Valley. It offers a great value for money safari experience and specializes in photographic safaris.
View on Google EarthTracks & Trail River Camp is located along the banks of the Luangwa River opposite the South Luangwa National Park. It is a mere 5-minute drive to the main entrance of the park from where the game viewing begins. The camp has its own large water hole which attracts wildlife and has many resident bushbuck, yellow baboons, vervet monkeys and is frequently visited by elephants as well.
The lodge offers 3 different styles of chalets: 3 River chalets, 4 family river chalets and 3 secluded chalets. Each contain a private veranda, en-suite bathroom, comfy beds and bedding, electric fans, tea & coffee stations and mosquito nets. The lodge also offers a spa, riverfront swimming pool and a fantastic bar & restaurant where meals are enjoyed by the Luangwa River.
Tracks & Trail offers game drives, night drives, walking safaris, cultural tours and full day game drive as activities. Their focus is on photographic safaris and they frequently host photographic workshop safaris. They also have an in-house photographic hide which is frequented by elephants.
