Treehouse is the latest jewel in the Setari collection and offers a rare blend of seclusion, scale, and rustic luxury. Situated southeast of Setari and close to the Jedibe airstrip, this elevated retreat sits high in the trees and looks south across vast floodplains. Importantly, Treehouse is offered on an exclusive-use basis only, making it ideal for private groups seeking a deeply personal safari experience.

From arrival, guests enjoy complete privacy with their own guide, chef, waiters, and dedicated management team. As a result, every detail feels tailored, unrushed, and entirely unique.

Treehouse lies within 330,000 acres of unspoilt Okavango wilderness. To the north, lagoons, rivers, and waterways shape the landscape. To the south, open floodplains and palm forests stretch to the horizon. Because of this varied terrain, the area supports exceptional wildlife diversity throughout the year.

The camp itself blends seamlessly into its surroundings. Built high above the ground, it offers a sense of quiet isolation while remaining deeply connected to nature. Communal spaces include a dining area, living and lounge spaces, a terrace, boma, and swimming pool. Together, they create a relaxed yet refined atmosphere ideal for shared moments and memorable evenings.

Experiences & Activities:

Treehouse delivers a dynamic safari experience that changes with the seasons. From May to October, rising floodwaters transform the area into a watery paradise. During this time, guests enjoy boating and mokoro excursions directly from camp, as well as guided walks on nearby islands.

Between October and May, the waters recede and the floodplains open up. Consequently, large herds of buffalo and elephant move through the area, often followed closely by lions. Game drives during this period are particularly rewarding, while birdlife remains abundant and varied year-round.

In addition, scenic helicopter flights are available at an extra cost and offer a striking aerial perspective of the Delta.

Accommodation:

Suites (3 Suites | Sleeps 6 Guests): Treehouse accommodates six guests in three spacious and airy suites. Each suite is thoughtfully furnished for comfort and relaxation. Features include extra-length beds, oversized mosquito nets, a writing desk, seating area, fan, lighting, and convenient plug points.

All suites have ensuite bathrooms with shower, basin, and toilet. In addition, each suite opens onto a private verandah, which provides the perfect vantage point for sunset views and sweeping floodplain scenery.
