Situated on the eastern rim of the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp offers a unique blend of comfort and wilderness. With just eight guest tents, including a family unit, the camp provides an intimate and exclusive experience. The location, just inside the park boundaries, allows for early game drives into the crater, giving you a head start to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site. From the moment you arrive, you will be enveloped in the natural beauty of the crater and the warm hospitality of our camp. Experience & Activities:

Positioned on the eastern side of the Ngorongoro Crater’s rim, Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp provides the perfect base for exploring this extraordinary landscape. Guests can start their day with a game drive into the crater, offering a chance to see the Big Five and other incredible wildlife in their natural habitat. The camp also offers a variety of activities including hiking to the Empakaai Crater, visiting a Maasai village, donkey riding with the locals, walking on the crater rim with an armed ranger, or enjoying a bush lunch on the crater floor.

In the evenings, gather around the campfire, known locally as “Bush TV,” to share stories and enjoy the serene atmosphere. The lounge tent is an ideal spot to relax and meet fellow travelers, while the dining tent offers delicious meals prepared fresh daily by our chefs.

Accommodations:

Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp features eight guest tents, each designed for comfort and convenience. The tents are equipped with en-suite bathrooms, complete with a shower, vanity desk, and flush toilets. Depending on your preference, tents can be arranged with a king-size bed, twin beds, or triple beds.
